Fraser Canyon Hospital is that much closer to replacing four of their emergency stretchers, following a large donation last week.

Representatives from Westcoast Enbridge were in Hope to present a $10,000 donation to the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation (FVHCF) for the purchase of a new stretcher bed for the hospital’s emergency room. Over the last year, FVHCF has been holding events around the area to raise the $40,000 needed for the full replacement.

“We are raising funds to replace four of the emergency stretchers for Fraser Canyon Hospital,” stated Liz Harris, Executive Director. “We are grateful for partners like Enbridge.”

The Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation funds vital equipment and programs for Fraser Canyon Hospital, as well hospitals through the Fraser Valley. All funds raised in Hope support the Fraser Canyon Hospital.
