Enbridge Energy Partners reported a crude oil spill from one of their pipelines near Grand Marsh, Wisconsin.
“Enbridge is treating this situation as a top priority,” Richard Adams, vice president, U.S. Operations, Enbridge said in a press release.
“We are bringing all necessary resources to bear. Our immediate focus is on keeping our workers and the public safe as we work to remove the oil and clean up the site.”
Enbridge said the spill of an estimated 1,200 barrels, is contained within the pipeline right-of-way.
No one was injured.
