Family rallies behind father after blaze

A Lake Country family has started a Go Fund Me page to raise money for their father

A Lake Country family has started a Go Fund Me page to raise money for their father, who lost his home to fire.

The family of Ray Tremblay has established the fundraising page that has already garnered over $10,000 in donations, after a blaze May 25.

Tremblay’s wife Sue died from cancer May 9, and the plan was for a service in July.

“Unfortunately, Sue’s remains were in the house when the fire consumed it,” states the family.

“Not only has Ray lost his wife but now her ashes and all the family keepsakes, including her wedding ring. We all know that these items can’t be replaced, but we would like to help him replace some of his personal effects and try to rebuild as best he can.”

Firefighters are still trying to determine the cause of the blaze.
