FAR mandates masks

The new rule was set in place to ensure utmost safety of guests and employees

  • Aug. 13, 2020 12:00 a.m.

Fernie Alpine Resort (FAR) is mandating the use of masks, buffs, or bandanas while in line, loading, and unloading the chair lift.

The rule develops FAR’s current mandate, requiring the use of masks inside all buildings including the retail shop, Lizard Creek Lodge, guest services, and rentals.

Patrons are encouraged to bring their own reusable face covering, and to dispose of masks thoughtfully when required, however masks may be provided upon request.
