Ridge Meadows RCMP made a mid-afternoon bust Monday in Memorial Peace Park and seized a smorgasbord of street drugs.
Fentanyl, crack cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana were found on two men that police say are associated to drug dealing.
The two were arrested but it’s not known if charges of trafficking will be recommended because the quantities aren’t that large, said a police spokesman.
Cash was also seized by the community programs unit of the RCMP.
The drugs were found stored in sealed, plastic containers. Fentanyl is lethal enough that even small amounts exposed to the skin can cause an overdose.
