Fight lands three in hospital

Two people tried to enter a home and ended up in a fight with two others.

Three men have been take to hospital after a fight between four people in what appears to be an attempted break in at a Newton home.

On Tuesday (July 19) at about 11:45 s.m., Surrey Mounties were called to a home in the 6600-block of 124A Street.

When RCMP arrived, they found that a fight had occurred between two residents of the home and two people who tried to enter the residence.

The fight continued on the street, where neighbours attempted to intervene.

One suspect fled in a nearby vehicle andy another was held by neighbours for police.

The two occupants of the home were take to hospital with minor injuries, as was one of the suspects.

The investigation is still in its infancy, however, early indications are that this is a targeted incident.

Police are still looking for the suspect vehicle which is described as a black Honda Accord. A description for the second suspect is unavailable at this time.
