The fire ban in Mission has ended.
One day after the BC Wildfire Service rescinded the campfire prohibition that was in effect within the Coastal Fire Centre’s jurisdiction, the municipal ban was also lifted.
The notice on the Mission Fire Rescue Service Facebook page reads “The fire ban for District of Mission has now been lifted by the fire chief.
“Effective immediately, campfires at the provincial campgrounds in District of Mission and back yard fires with a recreational fire pit permit are allowed.”
