The BX-Swan Lake Fire Department attend a house fire on Pearson Road Friday just before 5 p.m.
The fire started in the kitchen and quickly spread throughout the home.
BX-Swan Lake Fire Chief Bill Wacey said a woman was taken to Vernon Jubilee hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
