It’s still not known what led a fire to destroy a Vernon home.
Investigators were back at Valleyview Place Friday after a blaze roared through a home Wednesday night.
“We have some theories but evidence is lacking,” said Lawrie Skolrood, deputy fire chief.
The fire started on the ground-level sundeck. A couch and other material were stored there but it’s not believed there was a barbecue.
“We have dug out the area of origin but the deck is pretty damaged and things are missing that would give us some indication of what’s going on,” said Skolrood.
