Following are the board highlights from the May 6 Cariboo Regional District meeting:
Fire protection
The board approved adoption of service boundary amendments to the Deka Lake Fire Protection bylaw and the Lone Butte Fire Protection Service Area bylaw.
Canlan report
The Canlan Ice Sports Corp. 2011 annual operating plan and quarterly report was received and endorsed by the board.
Master plan
The scope of work for the South Cariboo Rec. Centre property master plan will be confirmed and an amended request for proposal will be issued.
The minimum of four development plan options will include key facilities on the property.
