Firefighters called to Glenora blaze

Trees near the structure are also on fire.

Firefighters from the Duncan firehall were called to the scene of a blaze in a modular home in Glenora this afternoon, June 16.

Trees near the structure were also on fire, and mutual aid was called for from the Sahtlam Fire Department.

An ambulance was called to the scene, a large pastoral property containing a number of other modular homes, as well for someone with minor burns.

Firefighters quickly had the blaze, which completely destroyed the modular home, under control and were in clean up mode by 2 p.m.
