The Kelowna fire department was on scene of a small fire caused by a pot left on the stove, Saturday night.
At around 4:30 p.m. smoke was reported to be coming from a basement resident on Dougall Road South.
Firemen broke down the door in able to enter the building as the pot caused the detectors to go off.
