In a recent Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows News article, titled, Opposition to anti-SOGI event, speaker Jenn Smith was said to self-identify as transgender.
Smith is transgender.
An online headline and a characterization of Smith’s presentation, the latter by a member of B.C. Families for Inclusivity, were also misleading in their references to hate and lies and have since been corrected.
