The Fraser-Cascade School District’s seven trustees were elected Saturday, with all incumbents running for seats re-elected and two new trustees joining them at the board table.
Trustees for the Hope area all incumbents who’ve won back their seats. They are Linda Kerr, with 1,095 votes; John Koopman with 1,027 votes; and Heather Stewin with 952 votes.

Trustees for the Agassiz-Harrison area are incumbent Ron Johnstone with 1,001 votes; Wendy Colman Lawley, with 602 votes; and Marilyn Warren with 530 votes.

Trustee Tom Hendrickson was the sole candidate running for the one trustee position from the Fraser Canyon. He has been acclaimed.
A total of 14 candidates ran for the School District 78 board, their results are as follows: Linda Kerr (1,095), John Koopman (1,027), Ron Johnstone (1,001), Heather Stewin (952), Wendy Colman Lawley (602), Marilyn Warren (530), Lori Izawa (762), Wilfried Vicktor (659), Gary Lewis (476), Brittany Ekelund (447), Emma Potts (447), Lesley Ward (371) and Frances Oliver (340). Tom Hendrickson received no votes as he was acclaimed.
