Fraser Health has declared the COVID-19 outbreak over at Bradley Centre, a long-term care facility in Chilliwack.
The outbreak was first declared on Dec. 4, 2020 when two staff members tested positive.
The new update from Fraser Health, who owns and operates the facility on Menholm Road, did not include how many cases in total there were during the outbreak.
But they say that “with the implementation of comprehensive strategies to prevent and respond to COVID-19 in care facilities, there are no longer any COVID-19 cases at this location.”
They are also reminding people in the region to be vigilant about testing. They say it is “critically important” for Fraser Health region residents to use the COVID-19 assessment tool and get tested when sick, even with mild symptoms.
Don’t wait, they urge, and book or drop by a collection centre. To book a COVID-19 testing appointment, complete a COVID-19 test booking form.
