The Freeride World Tour welcome party brought out all of the competing athletes to the Golden Civic Centre on Friday evening.
The Freeride World Tour kicks off at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort tomorrow, with riding dates anticipated between February 2 to 8, dependant on weather.
February 2 and 3, the events village takes place at Spirit Square from 4 to 7 p.m. Athletes will be available to sign autographs, and a number of events and activities will be set up in the square.
The competition event will take place when the weather is favourable, and will be streamed live online at www.freerideworldtour.com. The awards ceremony will be held at Kicking Horse Mountain resort at 12:30 p.m. following the competition, and again in Spirit Square later that day.
