The pigs snoozed happily in the shade on Saturday at the Coombs Fair as hundreds of people flooded the Coombs Fairgrounds for a variety of activities and entertainment. The new Centennial Stage was a big hit and people flocked to check out singers and musicians of all ages. Inside there were all sorts of interesting entries to the exhibits and demonstrations and displays in the activity centre.
Although it was small, the new corn maze was a hit with children who ran through gleefully. 4H members were spotted throughout the grounds petting sleepy cows and showing of their prized animals.
