The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) has voted unanimously to allocate $38,352.36 for the completion of the regional component of KVR Trail in Kaleden.

The funding is an expenditure of the Electoral Area “D” Community Works Program Reserve Fund, Bylaw No. 2828. This funding will allow the completion of a portion of the trail within the Town of Kaleden limits.

According to TrailsBC.ca, a portion of KVR Trail is currently closed between Crump siding and Faulder due to a huge rock slide. Work to remediate the slide(s) is/was delayed due to a lack of funds.
