What started as a fundraising drive on behalf of the I-Hos Gallery turned into much more, thanks to the gallery’s manager and Telus.
As part of Giving Tuesday, Harper Bauer of Telus presented the Comox Valley Transition Society with a surprise $1,000 donation, in addition to good such as blankets, soap and calendars at the I-Hos Gallery.
Ramona Johnson, gallery manager, posted on social media a fundraising campaign for the transition society, which was noticed by Telus. On Tuesday, both Johnson, Telus Community Ambassadors and the Pure Fibre Team presented Heather Ney, executive director of the transition society with the funds and the goods.
