A motor vehicle collision occurred on Highway 3 about five kilometres west of the Paulson Bridge on Nov. 25 at 1:10 p.m.
There were two occupants trapped inside the vehicle. Both ambulance and police were at the scene to extract both occupants who were later taken to hospital for minor injuries.
“Road conditions at this time at that location was black ice and on a curve,” Grand Forks RCMP’s Cpl. Richard Lanz pointed out. “Speed wasn’t a factor, but the accident is consistent with the scene as it’s known as a bad corner. Quite frequently we have accidents there when the temperature changes.”
The occupant and passenger are from Grand Forks.
