City crews will be cleaning residential streets in Greenwood, following complaints to city hall about gravel and dust left after the spring thaw. Mayor Barry Noll said the work will get underway Friday morning, April 16.
“We’re probably about two weeks away from finishing,” mayor Barry Noll told city council Monday, April 12.
Downtown streets have already been cleaned, he said.
The city’s only street sweeper is “a little bit dated,” he said, adding that the machine’s vacuum apparatus tends to kick up dust.
