The family of a Campbell River man is seeking his whereabouts.
Trevor Lyttle, 26, was last seen Sunday, Dec. 7 when he informed his parents that he wanted to feed a deer on their property on Steelhead Road.
“My parents and their neighbour were just having a little breakfast and he just kind of got up and wandered around the property,” said his brother Kerry.
He saw the deer and wanted to feed it. So his neighbours said they had some food in their house he could feed it with.
He went to get the food.
“And that was the last anybody saw of him,” Kerry said.
A missing person report has been filed and the family have asked for help on Facebook and have put up posters around town.
Trevor was last seen wearing a grey toque, blue or black jeans and a grey, black and white plaid jacket. He is a “skinny build” 5′ 11″ and 165 pounds and is described as quick to smile.
He had shaved his head recently and had talked about building a hut in the woods nearby a few days before his disappearance. However, the family has searched but not found any evidence of him doing so.
“Obviously, we have concerns given the weather (of the last two days),” Kerry said.
Anybody who has seen Trevor or knows anything about his disappearance is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
