British Columbians can have there say, but only for one more day.
The Provincial government is asking for the input of British Columbians on heavy oil spill response plans.
The poll, posted on the Ministry of Environment page but which has a contact name and number for contractor C. Rankin & Associates who are managing the consultation comments.
The deadline to fill out the form for public consultation is February 15, 2013.
According to the information on the Ministry of Environment website, after the consultation period, the responses will be summarized and published on the ministry’s website.
These responses will then be used in the development of “a world leading preparedness and response regime, according to the site”
Workshops or seminars may then be used to look at issues identified through the online responses.
