A collision on Highway 97 south in Williams Lake Friday has sent two drivers to hospital with undetermined
injuries.
At 4:30 p.m. two vehicles collided head-on in the south bound lanes.
Both drivers were injured and had to be removed from the vehicles with the jaws-of-life, said the RCMP.
Both were transported by BC Ambulance to Cariboo Memorial Hospital.
The highway was closed for approximately two hours while police investigated the scene, along with a
traffic analyst.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor, said the RCMP, adding police continue to investigate the incident.
