High speed winds over the weekend made a mess of one woman’s backyard in Abbotsford.

Gusts reached up to 55 kilometres an hour on Saturday, Nov. 23, lifting a trampoline into the air and leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.

The trampoline jumped across the yard until it caught a clothesline and demolished the wooden fence it was tied to.

The highest recorded wind speed in the last decade was in March 2016 with speeds recorded up to 106 kilometres an hour, according to weatherstats.ca.
