Expect 20 minute delays if you are heading to Revelstoke today on Highway 1, due to snow deposit removal between Albert Canyon Chain Up Area and Illecillewaet Brake Check for around 10 km.
There will also be 20 minute delays in both directions around Columbia West FSR and Quartz Creek FSR.
DriveBC reports limited visibility with snow on Highway 1 between Victoria Rd W and Glacier National Park, just east of Revelstoke. There are also reports of slippery sections of highway due to compact snow.
Slippery driving conditions continue between Revelstoke and Golden due to compact snow, between Glacier National Parl West Boundary and Quartz Creek Bridge.
Limited visibility due to snow will affect driving conditions just outside of Golden, extending from Quartz Creek Bridge and to the B.C./Alberta border.
Heading east of Golden, there are strong crosswinds on Highway 1, between Beaverfoot Rd and Field.
Highway 1 is closed in both directions around Field, due to a vehicle incident at Emerald Lake Rd.
Blowing snow is causing limited visibility on Highway 95 as well, between Golden and Radium.
