DriveBC reports construction on Highway 1, heading to Calgary, just east of Golden, starting at the Ten Mile Hill Truck Stop. Traffic is still flowing. Be cautious and slow to winter driving conditions along this portion of the road.
Maintenance continues between Columbia west FSR and Quartz Creek FSR, with up to 20 minute delays in both directions. Maintenance is expected to continue until Saturday, January 25.
Avalanche control is planned between Alberta Canyon Chain Up Area and Hemlock Grove Boardwalk three kilometres east of Mount Revelstoke National Park, resulting in road closure of Highway 1. Closure is planned from 12:00 p.m. MST and 2:00 p.m. MST. Detours will not be available.
