Watch for slippery sections on Highway 1 from Revelstoke to Leanchoil, just east of Golden. The precarious driving conditions have been caused by a mix of compact snow and slush in sections along the highway.
Continued maintenance in the Quartz Creek Bridge area is causing 20 minute delays due to traffic control. Maintenance is expected to conclude this weekend on Jan. 25.
Watch for slippery sections on Highway 95 as well, from Golden to Radium, due to compact snow.
