Robbie Waisman, a survivor of the Buchenwald concentration camp, spoke to Aldergrove Secondary students last week.
Waisman was born in 1931 in Skarszysko, Poland, the youngest of six children and was eight years old in 1939 when his city was bombed and occupied by the Nazis.
Hasag, a German ammunitions factory was established in his town and the Jews were forced to work there.
Waisman was liberated in the concentration camp of Buchenwald on April 11, 1945 at the age of 14.
