Hope’s first brewery has been christened Mountainview Brewing Co. and the owners are working behind the scenes to get their business ready for a fall 2019 opening.

Co-owners Danielle and Adam Keil are sharing updates about their new business, including a logo which features two striking angular snow-capped mountains with the brewery name and the text ‘meet us in the mountains’ all included in the circular design.

With about 11 months to go, the brewery is already tempting the town of Hope with photos of freshly poured brews as well as soliciting ideas from the Instagram community. A request for beer names came back with some very local suggestions, including:

Beyond Hope Pale Ale

Hope Slide Brown Ale

Kawkawa Kolsch

Kettle Kettle Sour

Ladner Creek Tripel

Portia Porter

Rambo Double IPA

Scuzzy Creek Stout
