Thousands of people in Chilliwack came out Monday morning to pay their respects to those who served and lost their lives fighting for Canada.
Both cenotaphs — located at Veterans Memorial Park in downtown Chilliwack, and All Sappers Memorial Park in Vedder Crossing — were packed with spectators, veterans, soldiers, cadets, emergency personnel and more for this year’s Remembrance Day ceremonies.
