Charges have been dropped against an Abbotsford man who was charged with sexual assault and two counts of indecent acts in May.
Kristopher Wayne Andrie’s charges were dropped during his trial, which began Oct. 30 in Abbotsford provincial court.
Andrie, 23, was arrested in May after police received a report saying that an unruly man was bothering young women on a transit bus.
Andrie had been accused of approaching two 23-year-old women and making inappropriate comments while touching himself. He was also accused of grabbing the hip of one of the women.
He was charged with sexual assault and two counts of indecent acts.
Andrie said he was not guilty of those offences, and the Crown dropped the charges after witness testimony in court didn’t match with what the police report indicated.
