The Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit (VIIMCU) will be giving updates on a two-year investigation into the homicide of Victoria senior Richard “Blair” Young.

On Feb. 7, 2017 the 72-year-old man went missing, and his family reported it to police one week later.

On March 3, police recovered human remains near the Malahat summit, and identified them as Young’s.
