Four-year-old Sylvia Haslam was excited to take part in the candlelight walk Friday night (Dec. 5) during the third annual Old Tyme Christmas and Candlelight Walk in downtown Ladysmith. The event, presented by the Ladysmith Downtown Business Association, featured a candlelight walk, horse and carriage rides, open fires, an Elf on the Shelf scavenger hunt and treats and activities inside many businesses. Some downtown businesses are continuing the late-night shopping  farther into December and will stay open until 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12 and Friday, Dec. 19.
