POLICE ARE asking for the public’s help to find a drift boat stolen from a rural property adjacent to the Skeena River.
The boat is described as a 16-foot custom welded aluminum drift boat with the top half – waterline and above – in fire engine red, reported police in a release April 28.
It was secured in a back channel in Old Remo, almost directly across the river from New Remo and the thieves would’ve got to it by boat, said police.
Anyone with information about the suspects’ identities or the whereabouts of the boat are asked to call the Terrace RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers.
