RCMP are turning to the public for help with the identity of a suspect in an early morning, Kelowna robbery.
The Kelowna RCMP received a report Dec. 12 at 12:15 a.m., of a robbery that had just occurred at the Mac’s convenience store located in the 2100 block of Richter Street.
“Police have learned that a lone male suspect entered the store, brandishing a weapon and demanded that the lone employee open the cash register,” said Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey, in a press release.
The victim was not injured during the encounter.
The robbery suspect departed the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. He is described as:
Caucasian male;
approximately 18-years-old;
approximately 5-foot-10;
slender build;
wearing blue jeans, a black and maroon coloured Adidas hoodie, gloves, a black and white ball cap and carrying a black bag;
