Kelowna RCMP have a picture of the person they want to speak with in relation to the murder of 27-year-old Theresa Ashley Neville.
The young mother of two was killed inside her home in the very early hours of Tuesday morning and the man depicted by police sketch artists is said to have been seen in the area at 12:37 a.m., around the time police arrived to assist B.C. Ambulance Service.
Describing him as an “unknown male” who was seen in the area, the brief notes released with the image say he is thought to be aboriginal, possibly with darker skin, and a slim narrow face with high cheek bones. He is said to have had long, shoulder-length black hair and was last seen wearing all black clothing.
There is no indication of who identified the person of interest.
Police have said the phone call to 9-1-1 came from within the home and her two young children, aged eight and 10, were found in the house with her unharmed.
They are asking anyone with information to call Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 or text CRIMES (274637). One can leave a tip online here.
