The Kelowna RCMP were seen searching the area of Gordon Drive and KLO Road at about 9:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Any eye witness said the RCMP were conducting their search with canine units and guns drawn.
Kelowna Capital News has reached out the RCMP for comment.
