Social media strategies will one of the many topics discussed during a Business after Business slated for Wednesday night at Tree to Me.

Similkameen Country, the Keremeos and Area Chamber of Commerce is holding it’s first Business after Business of the year following it’s general meeting March 13 starting at 6 p.m.

“It’s a sharing environment; it’s always valuable to hear how other organizations are doing, compare traffic patterns and buying trends. What brought the person here? What will bring them back? Are they looking for something specific? Do we have something they don’t know they are looking but will fall in love with?” Andrew Wurz a director with the chamber and manager of Tree to Me.

“Meeting face to face opens opportunities to create joint projects/ventures and support each other. The more we know about what products and services are available in the valley, the easier it is for us to connect customers with more business members and have them spend their money here.”

Jeff Shemilt from the village will be speaking about the village’s social media strategy and new website design during the Business after Business. Businesses will also have a chance to discuss new things going on and concerns and have time to network throughout the evening.

There will be a variety of delicious snacks and refreshments supplied by Tree to Me.

The chamber plans to hold another Business after Business in following months with a theme of fraud prevention.

Tree to Me is an organic farm, bistro and guest suite located on Highway 3A just outside of Keremeos.

All Similkameen Country or guests are welcome.
