Kitimat resident Gordon Wilson recently won $150,000 from a scratch & win ticket he bought at City Centre Mall.
The British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) said Wilson was with his son when he bought the ticket, and was almost at a loss for words once he scratched it.
“I looked down and said ‘Huh?’ to myself,” Wilson recalled. “I turned to my son and said ‘I think I just won $150,000.'” He immediately went to the closest retailer to verify his win.
Wilson’s family was equally excited to hear the news. BCLC said Wilson plans to use some of his winnings to buy a fishing boat, and looks forward to spending quality time with his son while teaching him how to fish.
