This Sunday as most people sleep, Daylight Saving Time ends for another year.
But Halloween revellers may enjoy the extra hour.
On Sunday, Nov. 1, at 2 a.m., the clocks are turned back one hour in most parts of B.C.
Sunrise and sunset will be about one hour earlier on Sunday than the day before, which means there will be more light in the evening but less in the morning.
Most communities in British Columbia observe the time change, except Creston, Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, Hudson’s Hope, Fort St. John, Taylor and Tumbler Ridge.
Parts of Ontario, Quebec and Nunavut don’t do the time change.
In Canada Daylight Savings Time changes on the second Sunday in March and the first Sunday in November.
