A Vernon resident is among the latest nabbed by Kelowna RCMP in a recent street-level drug operation.
The sting netted 41 trafficking charges against 21 downtown Kelowna drug dealers, all of whom are known to police, for drug and/or Criminal Code-related offences.
The operation, conducted in late September, saw undercover officers make 40 cocaine and one heroin buy from 13 men and eight women.
Two of the buys were from two 17-year-olds, who were the youngest of the group. The oldest dealer was 44-years-old.
One of the dealers is from Vernon and the rest are from Kelowna.
Several of the dealers were arrested on sight, and warrants were obtained for the rest of the individuals charged.
So far Kelowna police have arrested all but seven of the individuals wanted on the outstanding warrants.
