Two local forestry companies presented their views to the Special Committee on Timber Supply at its July 5 hearing in 100 Mile House.
Tolko Industries and Ainsworth Engineered Canada LP representatives spoke separately, but between them covered some key issues with controlling short-term and mid-term timber supply, the local Timber Supply Area (TSA) and the Cariboo-Chilcotin Land Use Plan, as well as and maintaining the local mills and employment.
