Police are looking to return a ring after it was recently turned in to the Lake Country RCMP Detachment.
Some time around the first week of May, a gold and diamond ring was found near Community Futures on 33rd St. in Vernon. It was turned in to police with the hopes that the owner could be found, and the ring safely returned.
The ring is described as:
- 14 karat yellow gold;
- seven parallel rows containing three clear white stones each (total of 21 stones);
- The rows are aligned in a stepped formation towards the centre of the crown.
Police records indicate that the ring does not appear to have ever been reported lost or stolen and all efforts to identify the owner have been exhausted. Investigators are now turning to the public for assistance.
If you believe you are the owner and have proof of ownership, such as a photo of you wearing it, please contact the Lake Country RCMP, Const. Kris Clark at 250-766-2288 so that it may be returned to you.
