It was a good turnout, overcast skies, mild temperatures and “fast” snow for the Tweedsmuir Ski Club’s 31st annual XC Ski Race.
Results were as follows: Fastest Overall winner – Alex Boileau Male 18-59yrs 24km 1:26:05, Rabbit (5 and under) winner – Grace McCartney 7km 1:39:09, Rabbit (5 and under) winner Owen VanEgteren 3km 58:20, Male 6-12yrs winner – Morgan Nelson 7km 1:01:40, Female 6-12yrs winner –Morgan Boileau 7km 54:20, Male 13-17yrs Winner – Samuel Stewart 12km 1:19:25, Female 13-17yrs Winner Lori Saunders 12km 2:32:38, Male 18-59yrs winner –Jordan Tuck 12km 1:19:25, Female 18-59yrs winner –Ellen Hunter Perkins 12km 1:23:28, Female 18-59yrs Winner Vera Robson (skied 19km) 3:04:15, Male 60+ Winner Lyle Enderud 12km 1:20:19, Female 60+ Winner Katie Hayhurst 12km 1:25:15.
