Traffic is closed in both directions on Highway 97 due to a transport truck rolling over and losing its load of lumber.

The incident happened just north of Okanagan Falls on Waterman’s Hill.

No injuries occurred as a result of the crash according to Okanagan Falls Volunteer Fire Department chief, Rob Oliver.

Fire crews arrived on scene at approximately 3:15 p.m.

The road will remain closed while crews work to clear the lumber and get the truck upright.

DriveBC said to expect “long delays” in a tweet.

A previous version of this story incorrectly stated that it was a logging truck that had rolled.
