A 44-year-old man has been charged in relation to a shooting incident that occurred three months ago on Flagman Place in Abbotsford.
Jatinder Gill has been charged with two counts of unlawfully discharging a firearm and one count of discharging a firearm with intent to wound.
The Abbotsford Police Department (APD) was called to the 2900 block of Flagman Place – just off Roundhouse Drive on the Aldergrove border – at around 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 18 after they received reports of multiple shots being fired.
As officers were en route, a man contacted the APD to report that an individual had left a residence and had allegedly fired a gun at a vehicle.

The driver of that vehicle fled, and no one was injured.
A man was arrested shortly afterwards, police said at the time. They also said the incident was not believed to be connected to the ongoing Lower Mainland gang conflict.
Charges were laid on Dec.17, according to court records. Gill was released from custody Wednesday on $1,000 bail and is next due back in court on Jan. 21.
Flagman Place is a short cul-de-sac about a block from Station Road. The road was the location of an attempted home invasion in October 2012 and a drive-by shooting in which the targeted individual escaped injury on Jan. 9, 2017.
