He's 70 and his family says he suffers from Alzheimer's disease

Dease Lake RCMP are looking for an American citizen who has been missing since Tuesday.

Anthony Adevai’s vehicle was found abandoned near Kinaskan Lake just off of Hwy 37 North south of Iskut on the way to Dease Lake that day and there has been no sign of him since.

He’s 70 years old and his family says he suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and has progressive dementia, said RCMP.

Adevai is travelling back from Oregon to his home in Alaska and police say his family last spoke to him Nov. 27 when he was in Cache Creek.

He was to be home for a medical appointment today.

Adevai has grey hair, beard and wears glasses. Anyone who may have seen him or knows where he may be is asked to call the Dease Lake RCMP at 250-771-4111 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
