Yesterday Revelstoke RCMP stopped a vehicle for speeding 10 kilometres east of Revelstoke on the Trans-Canada Highway.
Upon further investigation they seized approximately 10 pounds of cannabis, three prohibited weapons, a knife, a replica pistol, contraband tobacco and money.
The vehicle has been impounded for seven days and the 45 year old drive from Abbotsford received a violation ticket for excessive speed.
Charges are being recommended for Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Prohibited Weapons.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Revelstoke Provincial Court on Dec. 5, 2018.
