A man is recovering in hospital after being stabbed multiple times while in a home in Williams Lake.
Williams Lake RCMP Cpl. Matt Shearer said police were called to the scene in the 1400 block of Broadway Avenue South at about 4 p.m. Friday where they discovered the injured man, who is in his 30s.
Shearer said the victim was taken to Cariboo Memorial Hospital by EHS where he remains, and is expected to recover from his injuries.
Alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the dispute, and the victim and possible suspect are known to one another, Shearer said.

No arrest have been made yet and police are continuing to investigate the incident, which occurred in the Lakeview Trailer Park.
“The victim is not cooperating with police at this time,” Shearer said.
